Sargent & Lundy’s sustainability services include performing energy assessments of commercial and industrial buildings, evaluating and planning energy efficiency retrofits, and planning the implementation of distributed generation projects. Energy efficiency and distributed generation project evaluations can be incorporated into alternatives analysis or resource planning studies, depending on client needs.
Sargent & Lundy professionals will work with clients on an individual basis to determine which services or combination of services best suits their needs. We will develop a sustainability action plan that drives improvements in energy usage
Recent Projects
- S&L performed an assessment of the implementation of a solar PV system and a small wind power project on the campus of an industrial complex in Texas. The assessment included developing capital and O&M cost estimates, generation projections, and developing a conceptual implementation schedule.
- S&L performed an energy audit and assessment of a factory in California and evaluated the implementation of a solar PV system and a combined heat and power system at the facility.
Sargent & Lundy professionals also develop and implement energy measurement programs to establish a base line of energy usage and to verify the effectiveness of upgrades and improvements. Our LEED certified energy experts can support projects seeking green building certification.
